That's why I didn't buy it to begin with. I don't know if they removed it but I sort of doubt it and seeing how it's EA.....

Who here has played (is playing) S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ?

I have a nice new e6600 with a 8800GTS 640MB and I was really interested in trying this out. However, I have heard some mixed information about this title. Let me know what you think so I can either pick it up or skip it.

is BF2142 worth it.. i thought about it . . . .

I played stalker, I didn't like it at all.
skip it.

The graphics weren't of my taste, and the gameplay, well... too much of a RPG feel.
maybe it's just me for the FPS that is fairly simple, but ... STALKER didn't stand out to me at all.

The "adware" is questionable. I felt the same way in the beginning, but 2142 is an AWESOME game. Currently the only one I play.

I loved STALKER. Make sure you upgrade to the newest patch before starting the game though, saved games from the boxed version won't work with patched versions of the game... luckily I wasn't very far into the game when i discovered this.

It can be buggy in some parts, but it was worth it, I really enjoyed the game.
