Not to be picky, but somethings not right with the math on #2. $29.99 - $10 - $2 = 17.99, not 7.99. And if this is the real price, you can get it delivered for that price from Outpost, no rebates. Look for the relevant Fuji thread.

FYI, stay away from item 3) Koss CD player, I bought one from Best Buy and it worked for about a month and then it wouldn't play the cd's anymore. I exchanged it for a new one and that one did work right out of the box. I ended up buying a different brand.

hmm- I think that 30 pack of TDKS that I've seen before were the white Cert+ ones ( a diff store, and deal). I'm on my way there now...

edit: yes- they are white and Certified+ and made in the USA. I bought 1 and left 3. I doubt there will be many on Sunday am unless they really restock...
The fujis are made in japan.
the 40x CDRom was $50 today.

Unlike CompUSA, I have had very good luck getting stuff
at Circuit City later in the week. A few months ago
they had a cheap webcam, a CDROM, and a USB Hub all for
very good prices. I went there on Sunday around noon,
every item was sold out. I went back on Wednesday,
and everything had been restocked. There were plenty
of the every item I wanted.

Longhorn it probably depends on the particular CC. I work next to a CC in the outer suburbs of DC. It doesn't seem to get much traffic. The free-after-MIR items that they had for the last few weeks of December were all well stocked several days into the promotion period. On the 3rd day of the promotion I got the last USB hub. I'll bet most other CCs are not so fortunate.

THE TDK Spindle is white Certified Plus, Made in the good ol USA
I haven't opened them but in the past the Certified Pluses were ID'd as Taiyo's by others on this board/

The fujis are made in japan and also ID'd in the past by others as Taiyo.

Even easier:

Place your order online - now (I just did!).

At your leisure, go to the store and simply pick up your stuff. If it is not available, they will have no choice but to give you an equivalent item for the after rebate price - I've done it before, and it works!

When you pick the items up, they will automatically adjust to the local advertised price and print out the rebate forms - it couldn't be ANY easier!
