Civ 4 vs Age of Empires 3

Rome: TW is a mixture of turn based (civ4) and RTS (AOE3)...Get that for a taste of both worlds

i love rome:tw, great game. civ 4 is my current favorite although my son prefers aoe3.

I thought both rome:tw and civ4 were awesome, and hated AOE3 for some reason. I guess I don't like the setting of AOE3, because I've liked other RTS.

dont get AOE3 for multi, it HAS THE WORST ONLINE SERVICE the quick search function doesnt work, so you have to join games manually and its almost impossible because most of the time it wont join, or it will tell you the game is full when its listed as 5/6 players in the game, or there is massive unplayable lag, nothing compared to bnet... too bad since the game is actually fun
