At times I’ve referred to Clarence Thomas as Uncle Tom. I was accused of being racist by people who don't know what the term Uncle Tom means.

Clarence takes young people in who agree with his philosophy and gets them placed in the judicial system. This way their ideology is provided fuel for the long term.

The clerks name is Crystal Clanton. In a previous assignment working for Turning Point USA she sent the following text message to a colleague, “I HATE BLACK PEOPLE. I hate blacks. End of story”. Clanton was accused of other acts of racism when she clerked for other judges but investigations were dropped on technicalities.

Read the article. No self respecting black man would hire this kind of person the be placed in the judicial system. The same reason you don’t hire racist cops. This is just more evidence Clarence Thomas is truly an Uncle Tom. He is such a self loathing negro who hates his own skin. He would sell other black people out just to maintain his ideology. I suspect that ideology is part of his sickness.

I think Thomas tells himself he was unjustly and almost prevented from serving on the court and that he has every right in the world to fuck the left
as payback. I see it as how he justifies taking bribes and not recusing when it's obvious he should. I see him as getting off on saying fuck you.

Liberals were mean to him during the confirmation. He has NEVER forgotten.

I think he has the same disease as Stephan Miller, Trump appointed Jewish White Nationalist. I see a coping mechanism, an attempt to escape racial bigotry by adopting the very bigotry that would ordinarily be aimed at them. Thomas hates being Black for the prejudice that follows it and the same with Miller. They are loved by White bigots everywhere but only because they serve a purpose. My opinion, of course.

I remember watching the Thomas confirmation hearings and thinking that a black man was being figuratively hanged in the U.S.

This is in perfect alignment with why I see you as a highly moral person. You are always first in line to protect people against the damage judgmental people can do to others and I believe the reason is that your own deep desire to be moral yourself was challenged as a child. It is profoundly painful to be seen as a child as having far less moral character than one actually is.

But this deep commitment not to be the asshole who misjudges others can create a feeling that is all others are doing when they judge. There are, however, lots of people who are actually guilty of the things for which they are judged. Unfortunately for most people judgment creates disgust and spite that are themselves pretty ugly at times.

I listened to hours and hours of the hearings live on NPR myself and saw guilty as charged and unfit to judge. I watched a propaganda piece a couple of years Bach that made me question my judgement but it didn’t take. He is still unfit for the job in my opinion.

As much as judgmentalism makes me sick too, comparing the harm he has done to the nation to the nastiness he was subjected to it’s a pity it wasn’t sufficiently greater to have Borked him.

My opinion.

PS: Forgot to tell you I started a thread on judgment minutes before I saw your post.

I wish I could say that I never judge without knowing all the facts, but like pretty much everyone else, there are some things that trigger me into a whole new dimension of pissed off, and I react accordingly.

In the case of Thomas, it looked to me at the time like he was being railroaded simply because he had the gall to think a black man could be on the supreme court.

You’ve missed a lot if Clarence Thomas is your poster child for a black person being unjustly treated.

On a scale of 1-100,000 I would put Kalief Browder and Crystal Mason in the top percentile.

Clarence Thomas? Maybe give him 99,975

Clarence Fucking Thomas?? Really?

Kalief Browder - spent 2 years in Rikers Island just on the false accusation of stealing a backpack. The PTSD and threat to re-arrest over bullshit caused him to take his own life

Crystal Mason - Sentenced to 5 years in prison for 1 accidental provisional vote because Texas wanted to crackdown on minorities voting. She was just cleared

But you keep that self loathing black man cause you get an opinion just like me. Meanwhile he goes on taking bribes and hiring racists to put on the court.

Just sayin’

I bet @Greenman wouldn’t relate to Thurgood Marshal. After all he didn’t do much but successfully argue Brown v Board of Ed. Clarence Thomas that stalwart supporter of black people in this country did nothing but lead the front line opposing affirmative action.

Pardon me if my cackles don’t get all a flutter for Uncle Thomas.

BTW - I just remembered, to pour more salt on the wound guess who criticized the Brown decision?

Good ole Uncle Tom

Uncle Thomas wants SCOTUS to stop taking state gerrymandering cases. So he wants to turn his back when Republican states gerrymander black people out of political power but if a state tries to enforce the Constitution he wants to step in.

States rights or no?

In Clarence Thomas's world, Clarence Thomas is the only black human deserving of success, equal treatment, respect, and indeed, privilege; much, less, Clarence Thomas is really the only black person in the world.

All of this, of course, "earned" by him through the wonderful programs of AA and DEI which, for anyone else, would be totally unfair and racist.

This guy is such a fucking cvnt.

of course you would think that, but only because Clarence told you this. He decided to tell everyone, quite publicly, that he was being lynched.

What a fucking disgraceful cvnt he is to have ever claimed such a thing. What a fucking ignorant idiot you are to accept such a vile claim.

I think there's a good chance that Clarence Thomas doesn't think of himself as black and that's why he hates black people so much. I think the only black person in the country who might hate black people more than him is Candace Owens.

Isn't it odd she would want to work with him considering what she thinks...?
It's weird the dissonance some people are able to engage in.
