I thought it was a little odd seeing a higher level TH outside the wall defense.....usually the're almost always inside......anyway, when I do get a chance, it'll be his loss.

It is a very common trick to protect your resources. People will 90% of the time just takeout the TH and move on, ignoring your resources. This gives you a 12 hr shield essentially for free (you just lose a few trophies).

Unless you are in the higher leagues I strongly recommend sticking your TH outside of your base (DON'T do this for Clan Wars though).

Exactly.....guys from my clan told me the same thing and I've been compliant.


The guy that I'm trying to take revenge on is to hit only his TH, but he's always online (doesn't say anything about a shield).......my troops will definitely get demolished against his defenses and I'm not even thinking of wasting my troops.....(just a few archers for a 1000 in loot).....hit & run....lol.

I love this game but it's kind of annoying how long everything takes. I mean, I get it... SC wants to keep people playing which means they'll likely spend real $$ on it.

I'm a mid tier TH8 and I just started actually reading the subreddit on CoC. I feel like I'm actually fairly knowledgeable and a decent player now. I wish I had read up on strategy sooner, especially ".5" town hall strategy.

I'm kind of pissed I upped my Wizards and Archers so soon as they are two of the most heavily weighted defenses when being matching up for war (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). I'm in a clan that wars very often, and it left me to get crushed or face opponents that I could barely 2 star.

I play on my nexus 6, can you play online somehow too? Also, I fucked up and went TH9 when I had like level 3 walls, ha hahaaaaa.

Catching up, but would it be worth it to drop the gold on xbow towers? What are some decent attack strategies? I am still doing 80 archer, 40 goblins, 10 giants, and 10 wall breakers. It seems to work OK. Are there better strategies? To get a full it takes about 70k elixer.

This is I think everyone's issue with it......I'm at mid level TH7 and everything is 2-3 days to upgrade......unless you gem it and then..............it becomes PAY to WIN.

I suppose that's a good tactic from SC's perspective as they know that people aren't patient enough to wait and will eventually give in (even if it's only $9.99).

It's not the money issue for me, but I hate to PAY to Win.......I'll just wait........patiently.
