Since they've already got the cc# for the order, they could go ahead and charge the new full amount. And they're polite about contacting everyone. They take the time to make sure everyone who placed that order at the wrong price got notification.
Plus, consider that the average DVD sells for about 19.99. At 20 bucks a disc, times 8 discs...well you figure out the math. Granted, it's not a huge price break. But still a decent deal.
