Sounds like a good deal if someone can pull it off. If you want to record those movies onto vhs i'd suggest keep an eye out on AMC cause they show alot of these pretty often and they usually use good quality prints/videos. I think they are usually totally uncut and not edited on AMC too. There may be other channels that show them too but AMC doesn't have commercials with their movies...usually.

black and white can be very effective in certain kinds of movies...and actually preferable to color. Having a color version of certain b+w films would totally ruin the film...especially certain suspense/thriller films, but other genres as well. You film buffs help me out here! Would Citizen Kane (considered one of the best films) be better in color? What about Night of the Living Dead? There's a bunch others but i'm crazed from no sleep and can't think straight!

Good for a dark and rainy night!! LOL Actually I like old horror movies...they're usually less explosive then today's horror movies and give a much greater sense of suspense...the black and white film adds a ton to the suspense.

i've seen all of those movies with the exception of "Bride of Frankenstein."

probably not for everyone but i think they're great, esp. "Frankenstein" and "The Wolf Man."

They just need some smart people like you guys to work for them and pick stuff like this up before it happens.... reminds me of the idiot at Future Shop that accidentally priced an item at $99 instead of $999. They honored that one for me though
