Remind you of the tactics of any other two-bit mustached dictator?
I pity the arabs that say a 10-year old is "a martyr".

There is nothing else to do BUT shoot them, but I wouldn't want to be put in the position to do it.

Only difference being, the Israelis don't arm their children and send them to war, while the palestinians do.
Sorry but the "leveling the playing field" arguement is played out. Morality is morality, simple and period. Either you arm your children and send them to war, or you don't, regardless of what weapons your opponent carries. You do that, and you've lost your morality. Even in war, there are rules.Originally posted by: Fencer128

And the Israeli's have tanks and helicopter gunships - the palestinians don't. What is your point as regards to my first post exactly?
Cheers,

Well, I couldn't agree more - though I would also say that shooting children comes under that "morality" description too. I don't see that morality can be argued (in the wider sense) when the US stands so steadfastly behind such an Israeli regime as exists today.

Because Israel is democratically elected. We support democratically elected states, even when they are heavy-handed in their civil affairs. That's the biggest understatement I've heard in a while! The US doesn't just limit itself to democracy - or oppressive ones at that, it also supports regimes such as Pakistan's.
Kids throw rocks and firebombs....good chance they will get shot. Pick up an AK-47, chances go up even more. If I was in riot gear and they were hucking rocks and firebombs at me, I might not think twice about squeezing off a few rounds.
I'm glad you don't live there then. Much more likely that you'd be firing from a tank from what I can see.

And we have folks like Andy that try to justify suicide bombers and terrorists.
