listen to me carefully...do NOT use anything to touch the surface except 100% cotton. you will regret it later. dampen it very slightly with water and do not press hard. do not let excess water slide around and get in it, and do NOT use a paper towel/regular towel/etc. to dry it off. let it air dry if there is any leftover residue.

some people will say they use whatever to clean it, but do not listen to them. you have been warned.

Only thing I can think of that's 100% cotton is my underwear.

I use the screensaver from Radtech.us + water. Pricey, but very effective against smudges and grease.

DOC eyeglass cleaner. Its what I always recommend. For extra points use their microfiber cloth. It works

Monster Cleaner is incredibly good.

Monster everything else isn't worth it, but the cleaner they make is wicked.

A nice little microfiber cloth should do the trick. I use one I got from fellowes, which I originally used to clean my DVD's. Works good on LCD's too.

In my opinion 50 grit sandpaper is vastly superior to steel wool at cleaning LCD's, especially higher end models. I have used both, and the sandpaper will definitely add a lot more texture to whatever image you are viewing.
