I just ordered one for my disconnected iPhone. Sending AT&T $85 a month was a huge waste, but $25 for just 4G data will make it a nice little internet tablet.

Yes that's exactly what it is, but it's the same price as a regular 4G USB stick, and with a much lower monthly rate. The standard Clear that works with any device is $40 per month.

Clear says that its WiMax network is in 48 markets and covers some 51 million Americans. That's still only one in every six of us, and significant portions of the country have no WiMax coverage.

You could try the 4G+, which does 3G. Then you can get 4G when it roll-out to your market area. 4G+

Yep. The service that gets you both 3G and 4G costs more though... I think $55

Actually, it's not a good deal. Because the iSpot doesn't work with many iPhones, even after a firmware update. This device is nothing but a doorstop. At $30 it's not even worth returning, but I feel sorry for the people who bought them for the full price. It also can't get a 4G signal inside my office or my house, even though the tower is less than a mile away. Clear 4G is nothing but crap.
