The department is probably rolling out new mods which is when they cycle out the unwanted products and introduce new ones.

The clearance prices are not some sort of national roll out, they are set individually by each store so this is a big YMMV.

i went to 3 walmarts and verified the prices.

There are differences b/w the regular WM and the Super center.

The Audio / Video products are a GO at all locations.

The PC stuff is YMMV.

In general I dont think Walmart is that hot, and my local one never seems to have clearances on things that I like.

Of course, since I only visit once every two months, its possible I just miss the deals.

I have 6 Wal Marts (and 2 Sam's Clubs) within 10 miles of my home. Extend the range to 30 miles, and I have 12 Wal Marts and 2 Sam's Clubs! This is in the area of Huntsville, Alabama.

The Wal-Mart closest to me had a lot of those items on clearance almost 2 months ago. They also had 7 Minolta 2400w COLOR laser printers marked down to 125.00 ea. Currently they have a bunch of miscellaneous junk in the electronics section---nothing worth mentioning.

I work in electronics at wal-mart so far ive gotten this

1x delphi skyfi2 car system 25.00
1x delphi skyfi2 home system 15.00 (2 of these left)
1x 7'' tft screen for car dvd systems with kit and attachments 5.00
5x 48 dvd holder 2.00 each

i would offer this advice go often if you see that they are resetting the electronics dept. they generally take a small initial markdown
then they take the big one like a week later.
price changes come down daily and can change daily (clearance)

in my store EVERY calculator is on clearance ie... TI 89s and such

i got a computer one time for 25$ all was wrong was bad power supply

also interesting wal-mart news they are doing away with in-store security company wide i dont get how this is a good idea.

the deal will be diffrent at every walmart the dept. manager is a given a dollar amount to mark down like 25k.
so how they doll it out is up to them. so prices will vary from one store to another.
