So go a day early. This isn't hard.
What kind of dumb question is this? You tell the client you'll go. If the flights are canceled on Monday, you tell your client you can't go because of the weather and flights are canceled. Or go earlier. Why are you sweating the small stuff?
Why the condescension from everyone? Lack of anger management/emotional IQ?
I didn't put every damn detail in the post because I didn't think I would get roasted for a simple question.
This trip is a long duration. If I fly safely there on Monday but the hurricane decides to switch directions and come in my path during my stay, what then?
Why the condescension from everyone? Lack of anger management/emotional IQ? Insecurity which causes lashing out?

My concern is not just with the flight. I'm not in a good situation if I manage to fly safely into a city where a hurricane is scheduled to hit the next day, am I? This isn't hard.
You really have some personal issues to sort out, attempting to degrade a random person on an internet forum. I am more concerned with the aftermath my family would face if something were to happen to me.
This is not a simple cancellation for me because there are millions of dollars at stake depending on the outcome of my visit. I am not familiar with these types of situations which is why I created a post. If you cannot control your anger, why post? I don't need that garbage polluting my mind. Go post elsewhere.

Next Monday. Apparently this week the hurricane is supposed to hit the city I was going to, albeit not as bad (Charlotte).
Do I have any justification to decline? The way I see it, the hurricane may or may not pass out of NC by next Monday, but I feel dumb even taking a 1% risk.
Apparently all the flights inbound to Charlotte were canceled already from my home city, for flights this week.
To all of this
You're afraid of rain? B/c that's all your going to get. You have a greater chance of dying driving your car right now.
this is what has me confused. He can't be talking about Irma, right? right? There is simply no reason to think this will effect anything in Charlotte next week. Hell, the rain they will get because of Irma should be done by tomorrow, right?
