You came here to say you're scared of a hurricane and you aren't sure what to do. None of us can help you with that especially without relevant details. If the trip is a long duration, then what's the issue? If you needed to leave the next day, that would be completely different than the next week.

I'm in south-west GA -- much further south (and closer to where Irma went). Irma didn't give us anything more than some rain and a little wind. We've had far worse storms numerous times this year. There wasn't even any lightning or thunder. Basically nothing even noteworthy.this is what has me confused. He can't be talking about Irma, right? right? There is simply no reason to think this will effect anything in Charlotte next week. Hell, the rain they will get because of Irma should be done by tomorrow, right?
