Irrelevant. The figures that say unemployment is 20% overall are the same ones that say black unemployment is 50%. Sanders is using the same misleading figures as Trump, he's just using a more specific set of them.

They actually aren't using the same figures if you read the politifact articles. Sanders is using information from EPI about those specific groups and Trump is misusing the BLS employment to population ratio.

OK, not the exact same figures, but regardless misused and wrong. Underemployment is not the same thing as unemployment, and if Trump had simply threw a "young" somewhere in there he would have been suddenly 'mostly true'?

I mean how much you want to get into the weeds is up to you but Sanders had backup for his contention and Trump had nothing. It's not really possible to know what would have sufficed for Trump as he never gave any evidence for his claim. Presumably he was talking about employment to population ratio and that's ridiculous bullshit.

If you want to say they should have dinged Sanders more than they did that's fine, but his statement was clearly more truthful than Trump's and when asked about it he provided supporting evidence. That should count for something.

My point is that people online tend to be in social and media bubbles. What they see is heavily directed by individual factors. That's not to say anything about how right or wrong Bernie supporters are when they say things like that, I'm just differentiating between things we hear a lot and things that really represent most of a group.

If I went by my own social and media bubble I would be absolutely shocked to see Hillary having such a lead she does. Because a lot of the people who support her the most are people who are all but invisible to me online.

Trump's would probably look similar, but his would probably have date ranges in the span of weeks, or days. Cruz's would look nothing like this since he has held his positions consistently, save for a couple of positions he's changed for the better after learning more information (ie: now believes, and rightfully so, H1B1 visas need to be cracked down)
