If you look closely you'll see MANY other smaller objects zipping about. A pair does a do-si-do.
When the cloaked object is half way across the screen one of these specks goes right up to it.
Some people for various reasons, are not fans of Backgammon. I think the reason why I am not a fan of it, is because it is not deterministic.
I.e. Some people (me included) don't like the random/dice part of it.
I guess it depends on ones personality.

Good catch, OP! I finally watched the video and I see it. It's plain as day.

Point your remote control at your phone's camera and press the buttons while looking at the live view on screen. It's kind like that in more ways than one: Yes, a camera can see IR as visible light even though you can't, but also note that you can "see through" the phone (crude simulation of quantum photon tunnel).
Note: the IR needs to be shifted back toward the invisible side of the spectrum or else you still see the disturbance. A camera removes this effect.

A lot of this weird stuff is often the military testing stuff and going slightly past their own exclusion zone or something goes wrong. Kinda like when they were testing the nazi bell and it crash landed. Nobody had ever seen anything like it before and the US was denying that it happened and blocked off the whole area.
Most "UFO" type things are probably government or even civilian activity (especially now that anyone can buy a drone). Either secretive stuff or just normal activity that might look different from a certain distance.
Things far away or at a certain angle at night can create weird optical illusions not only with visuals but with sounds.
