Cloverfield sequel?

This movie was horrible.

The beginning party lasted way toooooooooo long and the obnoxious cameraman had way too many obnoxious lines. They should've toned him down more and his character still would've come across as the obnoxious guy.

They had all that time in the beginning party, but only delved into 1 character... what a waste of time and space.

The monster basically stood in 1 spot and roared the entire movie. Move around!

And those little monsters that came off the back of the big monster was such a gimmick. If it wasn't for those little monsters, there would've been no scary scene... noone dying.... no suspense or drama.

Take the money from the marketing and put it back into movies.

It's less bad if you skip the boring/bad parts. So just skip the first 20 or so minutes, the subway scene, the 'rescue', and the end part.
Leaves you with about 10-15 minutes which are watchable

Well, I didn't expect it to be any good so when I finally sat down to watch it I skipped all the way to just under half way. From the moment I started watching it I LOVED IT VERY cool! No joke, I thought it was great! Afterwards I decided to watch the beginning but got annoyed with the party scene and stopped, lol.

Still, this is the first movie I've seen that makes an attempt to capture the appropriate vantage of the genre and for that it gets big kudos from me.

Cloverfield = good movie. It sure felt just like I was in New York when the creature/thing/monster attacked! Bad ending though...

Definitely wasn't digging the ending. Loved the movie though.
