- shakiness didn't bother me at all like I was expecting it to (from all the complaints). I have problems when playing Halo, but no problems with PC FPSs... my wife didn't have a problem either. If you were let-down by this, it's too bad. I think this issue stems from field-of-view for a lot of people.
- the 1st person POV made you feel like you were in it (unless you were consumed by nausea) and that's what was special about it. Blair Witch you saw absolutely nothing and even though it was 1st-person, you were not even close to being as engrossed in the whole thing.
- it was sorta ridiculous how they survived the chopper falling from so far up, followed up by the monster standing right on top of them without them seeing/hearing it coming. Also it was sorta ridiculous how Beth made it all the way back to her apartment in that short amount of time since she left the party. And I guess Travis didn't "get lucky". The falling bridge scene they ran from... it was well done, even though hard to believe.
- it took me like 4 tries to see the object falling from the sky (right before they cut to Rob & Beth's faces). Divide the screen up into 25%/50%/75% left to right... it fell diagonally from the top right corner toward the left to about the 80% mark of the screen. You don't see anything extravagant really aside from a small black dot making a very small splash in the water. No way is that the actual monster itself... it's definitely still a sea monster.. especially with what looked like gills in the scene where it ate Hud.

Beth was hot and they definitely needed more of her. Actually the whole cast came from Abercrombie & Fitch. The acting wasn't great, but the movie as a whole was extremely entertaining because of the pace. Thrilling ride once the going-away party was over. I don't think a sequel of any sort would work as well though. You would need entirely unforeseeable ideas surrounding the monster itself and that still won't be nearly as entertaining to sit through.
