That's simply not true. It is the seller's responsibility that the item complies with ebays terms of use. The buyer cannot be held at fault for assuming he is buying AUTHENTIC merchandise. The buyer, however, is still often scammed.

No offence [sic] Rudee, but *before* you post anything to ATOT you should ask yourself, "Am I a complete fvcking idiot?" If the answer is "Yes", please hit ALT-F4 immediately.

Don't get so angry about this.... just try to duke it out with the seller. Maybe he can refund you some of the money and then you'd be happy. Just try to compromise with him and you could get a good deal on this. ... Who cares that the dvd's are burned.. at least they run fine.

they don't run fine, thats part of the problem. Read the post, it won't get past menu.

Yeah, this clown is way out of line. Tell him you want what you payed for, make him go out and get you set and ship it to you for free. Threaten to report him to the Canadian FBI if he doesn't comply.

Called around for 45mins and found what appears to be the last one in the city. Disks are silk screened and they are way over 4.7 gigs on each disk. Big suprise here too, they play in everything.

Make sure on the feedback, positive or negative, you mention that the disk was a "pirated copy."

People who do that need to be fined out the butt. That's 100 times worse than just downloading for your own use.

What really pi$$es me off is that the set is becoming hard to find and this clown has caused me to loose a few weeks in finding a copy.

Scope!

I thought the purple coloring was for the dye (since you can't make the pits on a disk, the laser effectively "burns" a mark on the disk).

Good luck getting your money back and finding a legit copy!

I agree with DrPizza, Definitely put "sold me a pirated DVD" in his feedback. That sucks, you should try calling him, and ripping into him.

He has made contact after he read my emails. I sent him a primary complaints and then I sent him one listing all the problems with the disks. He's trying to make it like he bought the disks like that from a big box store. He seems like he's going to give back my cash but you never know. Anyways, once I get my cash it's negative feedback and a few choice emails to Ebay, and PayPal.
