QUALITY is pretty good, if you want something cheap and effective for backing up stuff its an awesome deal and 8x = 10 min per 650megs not bad unless you have no patient burning stuff also for most people that have 8x CDR burner so having anything faster then 8x does them no good anyway.

My Plextor 12x burns 8x at 12x just fine.

On this CMC CDRs, do they have writable labels on them? I have ordered no name brand stuff (and even the old CompUSA cheap stuff) and without a label surface the coating flakes like crazy.

gotta agree with dimwit: no labels on top = bad quality but it all depends on what you are using them for.
