My Bushnell xlp hasn't given me any issues I just want a full size one. I am also looking for a quick detach now. I want to be able to switch between a scope and a red dot. I got the scope all set up and it comes on and off good while holding zero but need to figure out something with the red dot. I might get a Vortex Strikefire because it is reasonable cheap has good reviews and uses a standard 30mm mount. I have been trying to figure out if the full size bushnell with fit on eotech mount but I can't find any info any where.
I got the Primary Arms M3-style-multi-reticule plus magnifier combo this week, and it seems pretty damned good. Very, very nice reticule, and it has a quality feel to it.

Where did you get it from I have been looking at some of there stuff but I didn't see any combos and the M3 style is out of stock.

Crucial
I almost bought a xd compact but the no manual safety killed if for me. I kind of ended up going the complete opposite with 2 p64s.

It's the $100 multi-reticule variant. I think the owner said that he's getting a shipment of M4-style single-reticule sights in the next month. No word on when the flip-to-side mounts for the magnifiers are coming in, although I would assume within three months.

That said, the multi-reticule is actually nice to have... single dot for accuracy, dot+circle for fast acquisition work. You could do worse.

If you sign up for their newsletter (or product notifications or whatever they call it) on the PA site, you will get emails whenever they get product in stock. I have the PA M3/3x magnifier combo on mine, as well as a PA M4 multi clone for the one I am building now. I do like the flexibility of the multi in terms of the different reticles, and the AA battery on the M4 is easy to find spares for obviously, but I like the size of the M3 better. Next time I would probably go with the M3 multi if I were doing it over.

Marsh at Primary Arms is awesome. They make a good product and don't try to pawn it off as a legit product but let their product stand on it's own two feet.

I can vouch for both CCMG and Primary Arms. I have a CCMG upper which is solid as well as a PA 4x compact.

Pulled the Trigger & Ordered one of the CMMG M4 (style) rifles. Got it last week.

CMMG Lower Receiver + Upper with Square Symbol (Brass Aluminum Forging Enterprises?). The Black paint on the lower & the upper slightly don't match, but you have to look hard to notice. No exterior scratches and everything looks new. Breaking it down, I did notice some wear in the chamber area where the bolt face enters, but only from slight use. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. Looks and feels about the same as my duty M4 (except the CMMG barrel's a bit longer). Plan on shooting both tomorrow to compare.

Rifle - $600
"Hand Pick" upsale - $25
Shipping - $25
FFL Holder Transfer Fee - $30

Total Cost - $680 (ish).

Now I have to troll this thread for a good deal on a scope/sight.

W.A.S.P. Bargain Bin 16 inch M4.....

White Anglo Saxon Protestant? hmmmmmmm.....

Btw, where do I have to move to be able to easily buy guns like you guys? Here in NYC gun laws are ridiculous, and it is my strong opinion that no one should have the right to tell me if I can own a gun or not...

Congrats on the new toy! I'd start off learning to shoot with the iron sights (it did come with a carry handle, right?). Save up some cash and if you want an absolute top of the line sight get an Aimpoint or EOTech. If you want something for range/fun use go with a Vortex Strikefire (new one with brighter dot).

NYC has some ridiculous gun laws. California and NYC give you VERY limited options.

You'd have to leave NY to have any decent gun laws. PA is probably the closest place with acceptable laws.
