1. I voted for McCain, but this is a democratic system so I'm not going to whine about losing. Even if Obama turns out to suck, we need him to be president now because clearly more than half the nation needs a reality check. Sometimes people need to get something they think they want even if it's not what they need.

I couldn't give you an itemized list of why I voted for Obama. He just seems like the better man. I identified with his words more.

I suppose it's always a gamble. That's why we have elections every 4 years.

Naturally, im conservative and I'm afraid of change. In context it's pretty funny since ever since Bush took office it seemed like everything changed . I do hope Obama brings our foreign relations a little closer and our image changes. Of course, that does not mean McCain couldn't of done the same. In all honestly if Bush Jr. wasn't re-elected in 04' I don't think Obama would of had a chance in hell vs. McCain in 08'. McCain just picked the wrong year, and should of ran in 2000.

I'm a republican and I hated Bush Jr. for just about everything and still don't understand how the hell he got the republican nomination, let a lone the office (TWICE!!!!) McCain should of been the president for the last 8 years.
