I voted for Obama, but how do you or I know what this country needs? lolOriginally posted by: Gibson486
but how do you know that what you want is what the country needs?
I haven't ventured into P&N this year, but could someone give me a synopsis of why they think Obama is such a horrible choice compared to McCain?
I couldn't give you an itemized list of why I voted for Obama. He just seems like the better man. I identified with his words more.
I suppose it's always a gamble. That's why we have elections every 4 years.
10 bucks that he gets elected in 2012 too, though. lol
I'm not trying to be rude, but this type of crap is why potential voters should be forced to take a quiz on some basic issues before they're allowed to vote.
I don't care who you vote for, but you should at least make an informed choice. If you can't trouble yourself to figure out exactly who you're voting for you should do the responsible thing and not vote. Let the people who actually know what their candidate stands for decide who becomes our next president.
If that quiz was required the Republicans would have got under 50 EC.
You make it sound like it's all one sided. I highly doubt all of the Obama supporters were fully aware of his stances, or his political views and agendas. This election had nothing to do with who was more qualified (look at the exit polls and you see it ranked about fourth or fifth in terms of importance).
