So I fail to see how blackmail was conducted.
CNN reserves the right to publish his name if he changes his apology. Seems kinda sketchy to me...

Insane. This country has lost its mind. The president. The press. The populace.

What's funny is that some kid out there posted a silly meme & a global news corporation went after him, not the person (president) who put it out in the public eye for millions to see. Well, I guess they tried to go after him & failed, so instead they put a front-page article about how awesome they are for finding the gif maker. Have they ever visited imgur?? Far worse stuff is on there...

Trump is a professional troll. And CNN just takes the bait every time and never knows how to respond.
The kid is a 40 something family man.

So they basically blackmailed him into issuing an apology under the threat of leaking his personal information?
Is that information collected from his online postings?
Sorry. You're in full defense mode and I really see nothing more worth while in talking about it.
But that's not how you portrayed it in your OP, right? Do I need to remind you of what you actually said?
To me, that reads like CNN contacted the gent, threatened him and got him to apologize via the threat. Didn't happen that way from your linked article.
If you can't own it, for real, don't say it.
Jhhnn do you post under your real name? Why not? Wouldnt you like to "own" everything you say on here and wherever else you post to a highly partisan and politicized country?
You say the most absurd things. Do you stare open-mouthed at your reflection? Your throat might dry out, be careful.True. The idiots on the left are used to getting everyone who doesn't buy into their garbage to kowtow to them every second of the day. Trump doesn't, and this infuriates them.

That would beg the question "UglyCasanova" - do you stand for what you post online?
By and large but I have no doubt I've posted stuff which I don't? He made a gif to post to a forum in anonymity, not calling for violence against the press like was claimed but because he was probably bored and that's what people do. Trump somehow got hold of it and retweeted because he's an idiot and that's what he does. The world rightfully calls foul (although largely for the wrong reason it seems) for Trump's tweet thus highly charging it politically. It's wreckless, dangerous, and unprofessional for CNN to draw attention to the guy. Those calling for him to "own" it are shortsighted and partisan.
It makes him an ignorant racist but so are some of the posters on here, a certain agent comes to mind. I dont support doxxing the guy though just because I disagree with him and he posts racist things, especially when the national spotlight in a highly charged situation is on it. That's dangerous.
Then start posting under your real name.
Why? I'm not the one arguing anyone even should be.
You've called Jhnnn out for this. Maybe you should take some of your own medicine.
A rhetorical question and an arguement for anonymity not against it.
