They're popular at my workplace. They're darn convenient. They don't hold a candle to a full-size mod, but the convenience factor makes them a favorite here at work because they're easy to have on you.

But they deliver weak and unsatisfying vapes, which is not a good thing for a smoker trying to switch over. Most of the smokers I know who weren't successful only tried this type and went back to smoking without ever getting a good mod. I actually recommend starting with a heavy mod with adjustable wattage first. You can get a vape pen or other small device for convenience in certain situations later. The heavy mods are also a lot cheaper in the long run since buying liquid in bottles is much less expensive than buying pre-filled cartridges.
