Ben Carson won the debate IMO. Rand Paul though...its been two debates. He cant channel his inner Ron very well.
There is nothing to channel. Nobody wants to hear some old geezer discuss gold backed currency and reducing the military to 2 nuclear icbm submarines. Libertarianism is dead. Thank god.

Even now the RPBs are trying to up vote Paul on drudge to make him look better than he is. They tried this 4 and 8 years ago too. Nobody gives a shit.

Well said. Vaccines make sense, that much has already been clearly proven. That doesn't mean we should blindly say "yep, all vaccines are great!" blindly without evaluating each one.

We don't say that about vaccines though. Ever heard of the BCG vaccine? Probably not since it isn't a very good one and usually only given in developing countries.

He still seems to believe there is some connection between autism and vaccines though even though there is zero evidence for it.

I would agree with some of them with spreading out the vaccines a little bit though. TDAP and MMRV should stay with their current schedule though.

That is true...and it honestly surprised me. You know, the prevelance of ASD in today's society is very unusual and it's hard to determine the cause..it's very complicated.

Since we don't know if vaccines have had any impact on ASD, Trump is merely guessing and using colloquial thinking which is sort of similar to "I just threw up, must have been something I ate." Well yes, it COULD have been what you ate, but typically that is not the actual cause of why you got sick and threw up. What you just ate, was just an easy target because it's hard to go back in time or look at the big picture.

Carson seemed to have a grasp, and maybe missed an opportunity, to address the money-grabbing spinsters that big pharma has become. I thought he was going to do it, but he waffled. He also didn't call Trump an idiot...because he seemed to have some compassion for those who are scared/hesitant and looking for answers. I really liked how he said he would lay out the evidence and let Trump make an educated decision.

Worse than the debate and field of candidates, was the media "trying' to make the aftermath into something other than what this was.... B O R I N G.
God Almighty, B O R I N G !!!!!

So lets sum up. This republican debate.
This nation is hell on earth under Obama.
Unemployment is 99% under Obama.
GW was one of the best presidents of all time.
Obamacare is killing millions of Americans.
And Reagan.
Reagan, Reagan, Reagan Reagan Reagan Reagan Reagan Reagan Reagan.

And some so idiotic comments from the debate, that it blows ones mind....
Take Walker. Against raising the wage but rather give the people the education to succeed.
Then, back on earth, Walker CUT, CHOPPED, SLICED education funding TO THE BONE.
O M G ..... Have they no shame?

And Huckabee? Everything should be based on religion. All that government does based upon religion.
Religion supersedes all law, all courts, all justice.
Gee Huck.... Where have we heard THAT political belief before?
Oh, I know. Terrorist IRAN!

And Trump was absolutely right.
Carly.... That face. Really?
Hillary is no beauty queen by far, but Carly?
Who does Carly's makeup, Aunt Jemima?
Pop two bolts onto the sides of her neck and what do you have?
The bride of Frankenstein's younger sister.

Everyone knows why this debate took place.
To see who could irritate Trump the most, and build up Carly into something she is not nor will never be. Electable.
And Ben Carson? Proof if your kid isn't up to flipping burgers, there is always a second alternative. Neurosurgeon.
So much for linking the medical profession with intelligence.

Sad.... Simply just tragically embarrassingly sad....

When Ben Carson speaks, he is not the fastest man at throwing out words, but I feel what he is saying comes from the heart, not from some political BS as most of the others are throwing around. Also noticed he is far less interested in slinging mud than the others. What Ben says, I can generally buy. I don't feel like this man is a liar, like most of the others. Whether or not he becomes POTUS, I can see him as a great one, somewhere, in the next administration.

Fiorina led HP? Poor HP...

Their computers were complete bloated trash

Fiorina fucked HP over. She took the Compaq merger offer when even Lou Gerstner of IBM said no to it (IBM was approached for the merger first).

Yesterday HP announced another 30,000+ layoffs. Years later they are still trying to recover from Fiorina's stint as CEO. She got over 40 million dollars as a golden parachute when they told her to resign from HP... Why the fuck is she running for president?

With the large diversity of GOP candidates on stage tonight - Men and Women, Black, White and Hispanic - Native born and Immigrant, as different as they are, they all share one common trait.

None of them will ever be President.

Ben Carson seems like a real likable guy. He comes off as a guy whose spent his life as a doctor taking care of people, not as a politician sucking up to everyone for money and power.

I gave up watching about half way through. I thought this debate was going to be twice as good as the first, but it seems everyone was too afraid to stick their necks out over the chopping block. Even Trump was disappointing to a degree. Maybe the pre-show work-up on the networks promised too much.

Be that as it may, the same old Repub talking points that were being bandied about circa 2000-2008 are still being hammered into the airwaves as THE way to "make America great again."

Like the old broken LP record that keeps skipping back and repeating itself, the trickle down, free-the-banksters-and-wall-street-crooks to scam the nation into financial ruin (again) mantra is still alive and well at the RNC.

New faces, same ideology.

Once again Marco Rubio has to lie about his family history because he thinks it makes him more popular with the real refugees. His parents didn't "escape." They fucking left of their own free will before the coup. Does it suck Castro took power after they moved and probably prevented them from moving back if they had chosen to do so? Yeah, but they weren't exiles so it's a moot point. It just makes him a liar, and he will say anything for a vote.

Carly worked very very hard for every penny of that $40 million golden parachute. Meritocracy and all that. You evil socialists shouldn't even dare to think to tax a 1% like her.

I think Carly did pretty well last night. You can easily see why she is a good attack dog to send after Hillary.
Honestly given Carlys age she is in great shape and attractive. I'm pretty sure she's 62.
She will have to deal with below, especially the ads that will feature a worker who lost their job during her tenure while their kid had cancer.

Nope, he's an American Citizen Born Abroad and legally eligible to run for/hold the office of President of the US of A.

I really want to know Trumps thoughts on this. Since Trump insisted that Obama was born out of the US to a US mother.
I agree being born outside the US shouldn't ban someone from being President however the Constitution is vague about it.

In regards to Ted Cruz, I find it interesting that before John McCain ran Congress passed a bill stating that even though John was born outside the US he (John McCain) is eligible to be President. I believe there were none or very few that resisted that idea. Ted Cruz cannot get a similar thing done. Building bridges vs burning bridges.

***correction not a bill it was a resolution more info below***

I'm surprised no one has already created a post about this.

Although this is a better debate than the first one I really wish there was real time fact checking so Americans can see which politicians have a habit of lying or distorting the truth.
As it stands now, almost everything out of Cruz's mouth has been a lie or a distortion.

I actually liked Rand Paul's answers.

They are politicians. They all lie and distort the truth. ALL.
