CNN - War may not be a matter of weeks, but rather a matter of days

While watching CNN tonight, one of the reporters said that sources within the White House suggest that now that it is all but clear that the UN will not approve a second resolution, war may not be a matter of weeks, but now rather a matter of days. With Turkey all but closed to US troops, everything is in place for Plan B and the forces are in place and can attack with about a few hours notice.

In other words, we could be at war tomorrow if the President orders it. If the UN isn't going to come along, and Turkey has said no, then there is nothing further to wait for, we can attack at any time.

We are very close my friends. Regardless of your feelings towards the war, lets all be sure to support our men and women in combat, they are fighting for our country and their lives are the ones that will be lost.

this war and anyoen who happens to die in it has absoutly no bearing on me in any way what so ever. so why would you expect me to care? i dont care about anything so why would i care about this.

if someoen tole me that the world was gonna end next week. it wouldent phase me. id just keep on doing what i do till then and not worry about it. cause it dosent need worrying.

unless something directly effects you then why bother yourself with worrying about it???? that only leads to mental problims

i do feel bad that people are going to die cause that moron Bush want sthem to. but there is nothing i can do about it so i choose not to care. makes life easier

It really sucks for the nations around Iraq. It is going to kill a major part of economic activity in air-travel, tourism, and just general day-to-day business. Turkey had to know that war was coming. We offered to help them but they said no. I guess I respect the fact that they stand by the fact that they are against this war even if it is going to hurt their people. Strange time we live in and getting stranger everyday it seems...
