I'm agreeing that the headliners are weak but I don't know enough about the others to know if it's worth while.

I haven't heard of 99% of those people.

That's why you go right? Listen and maybe hear some new music. Some starting points:

Robyn - Dancing on my own
Crystal Castles - Celestica or Not in love with Robert Smith
Sleigh Bells - Rill Rill, Infinity Guitars, Tell 'Em
Warpaint - Undertow
Tame Impala - Solitude is Bliss or Runway, Houses, Cities, Clouds
A-Trak - His remix of the yeah yeah yeahs off with your head (sick)
Empire of the Sun - We are the people
The Kills - Pick your album.. so many great songs
Cults - Go Outside (one hit wonder?)
The Twelves - Shit.. their remix of Seven, their dj set from bbc radio one, their remix of humanitarianism, Twelfth hour mix, Episode 2 mix
PJ Harvey - Anything she has made
BB/Death Crew 77 - http://vimeo.com/10326006
Yelle - Her recent safari song
Phantogram - Mouthful of Diamonds

etc etc

Seems like the line-ups have been getting less and less impressive with each year.

Could this be the very first coachella?! I always miss this thing year after year after year because I'm overseas during the event. I'm really digging the lineup actually. Sweet.

If they're going to keep having lineups like this, why not just call it Bonnaroo West?? Ugh...super disappointed in that lineup.

Interpol, Cee-Lo Green, Klaxons, Aquabats, Skrillex.

Gogol Bordello, Lil B.

Day 3 I could do without but I'd probably watch The Strokes at least.

Eh, festivals never really been much of a draw for me.

Pretty damned good line-up I'd say.
There's also a pile of bands in there that I haven't heard yet, but have heard nothing but great things about.

To those saying "bad line-up" You do realize that the underlying idea and concept behind these types of shows is to hear NEW music and not already well-known and played out bands right? As for the headliners... uhhh... they are pretty freaking big and solid IMO. Not all my cup of tea, but all talented for sure.

I used to be into the mau5 and his work, but he is all hype. yeah the tracks might be hot, but i'm pretty sure his success is just from remixing his two really good songs over and over by adding vocals and shit.

and i'm sure deadmau5 produced skrillex's songs. the guy behind the PC is probably joel zimmerman.
