Well so far its a thumbs up for me. Unlike the "future tech" cheese we saw in the past cod games, this one seems very well thought out and a realistic fork of what we see in todays R&D.

I tell ya though... why is it SOOOOO HARD.. for a game to come up with a workable auto detection routine for graphic settings. I figured my 460gtx 1gb was getting a little hairy in the ear and I probably shouldn't go fingering the higher textures considering there are 40gb of them. The game pretty much defaults me to normal textures..which IMO look like the lowest texture setting in any other pc games, and leaves off almost everything, even shadows. I found I was able to use high texture options + full subsurface light scattering as well as the base level of Ambient Occlusion. Oh and dynamic lights 8 (2...really? I think my geforce 3 did more then that).

I'm level 32 now and I can tell you a few things I don't like.

I have phenom2 4 core at 3.5ghz 8gig mem. 760gtx

For one there is no way to look at the lobby players kill/death ratio in team deathmatch like there is in Black Ops 2 to see if they are hackers. So that's really nice

I earned a new pair of shoes. I put these bad boys on and it said I was an invalid character when i went to play. So I thought well let me take off my new shoes and see... I could then play again.

I get lock ups in menu often and many times it gets stuck while loading maps. Some of the bigger maps I lag like crazy for a minute or two.

I can't help but think this new jet pack stuff is a gimmick and once it wears off people will look back on this and wonder why it was ever made.

The game is fun to an extent of being a hoot for maybe a few days? I don't know. Maybe I wouldn't be so hard on the game if it actually worked like a piece of software should.

There are random dips in the single player campaign where the FPS randomly tanks for no reason as highlighted in the Guru3D thread. Need to try the new Nvidia drivers. RAM also cracks 6GB+ on a 64-bit 16GB system, minus 1.5GB (or less for 8.1 as I run nothing on this box but games) I wonder what is taking up all that RAM. Graphically the game is nothing flash although the levels are slightly bigger. Guns actually have weight to them though, way better than the last 2.

I must be one of the few who actually play CoD only for the single player. :awe:

I have 8gig but too much is dedicated to windows for some reason. Either way I need another 4 gig because this only happens on the big maps I get lag as soon as I enter. Small maps no problem so that tells me my system is hurting for resources on large maps.

8 gig is fine... make sure you are pre-cacheing shaders when the map loads so your pc isnt trying to do them in the middle of the match.

- Nope .. been reading reviews on the campaign . 5~6 hours total it seems and a good story. I will probably get this over the weekend. I was hoping for a graphical crysis-level-leap thou.

You probably encountered a bug if you can't find a match.

And yes Black Ops 2 is a much more polished piece of software.

As far as showing FPS download FRAPS.

My memory... I have 8gig but when I bought Ghost it said I didn't have 6 available. My windows is hogging it all up... I think it allocated itself 4gig last time I looked.

Classic team Deathmatch is dead you are right. That is where the Exo suit isn't on at all so it's like other COD versions. You need to go to the regular TDM up top cause its full of players.

Guru3ds review said the game basically fills up basically any card, even a 6gb but not cause the game needs it.

I'll check my VRAM usage tonight on my 4GB 980, but I'm able to run with everything maxed out and supersampling on 2x with no issue - I can probably up supersampling some, but the game looks damn smooth when supersampling is on. This experience is the COMPLETE opposite of Ghosts on release last year, and the multiplayer is a lot of fun. I doubt the Exo stuff is going to get old, as it brings another interesting element to the game. I really wish a game would bring back BO2's system of buying attachments and perks.
