preloading shaders off allows me into those maps

but the stuttering lasts several minutes for me, pretty annoying. and im still annoyed by how poorly the game performs on my computer. and it seems to be a cpu bottleneck as during the times the fps drops, the GPU usage never goes over 60%

so an i5 2500k @ 4.0ghz seems to bottleneck the game

I had to turn AO completely off to get rid of the stuttering. Not a framerate issue....same stuttering at 100+ FPS, and I have the latest display driver and everything else.

Also, this engine is a total memory hog. I've seen it pull down almost 7 Gb in the single player, which might explain why it's taking so annoyingly long to load. Seems like they are preloading as much as possible into RAM instead of streaming it in.

Crysis3 looks eons better than this game, has bigger levels, loads in 1/4 of the time, and doesn't pull down nearly that much before entering the level.

Also...this is the first game EVER that made me turn my page file back on (it momentarily freezes every 5 seconds or so with it off).

Can anybody else confirm that gpu upscaling is borked on this game?

Tried dropping to 720p in an effort to lock 60fps but can't get the game to fill my 1080p monitor.

GPU upscaling is enabled and tested on other games dropping to 720p and they all scale to fit my 1080p monitor.

I usually like COD for the SP at least. This one.... its just pissing me off. Its like they decided to completely throw away any realism and go for the red-bull brojob market. At least it doesn't look like ass like the last one did. At least that was playable even if it was ugly.

Yea it's literally explosion after explosion,qte, same dramatic twist, no more cool stealth missions. At least there was one cool mission in ghosts that was stealthy pretty much.

I feel like I have to bull rush through every checkpoint. No more careful methodical play at all. Just rush in guns blazing and hope you kill them all before they kill you.

I wish they had thrown some missions like that medal of honor game. Not the last one but the game before that, which took place in Afghanistan. That had a good story and a nice set of missions. The cod aw mission on the bridge reminds me exactly of what you described.

It was the MOH before war fighter where you played as three different teams, the main guys name was Rabbit. I forgot the name of the game but that single player was great.

I liked both of the last two MOH campaigns. Warfighters' multi-player was decent but for some reason it just didnt seem to really catch on.

Finally finished the sp campaign. It was alright but could have been a lot better. The missions could have been laid out better. I think the ones I liked most were crash and the bio lab where you use the stealth part of the suite. Everything else well I didn't find too interesting. I usually had a bunch of missions I did enjoy playing on the other titles.

I'll be reading it in as soon as I can towards forza horizon 2 if I can't get it tonite from the MS store. Either way it will get traded in towards some other game later.

hmm, i'm locked in at 90fps on every map on my system below and also have very good performance on a 2600k paired with a 7970

It is a memory hog, but I actually prefer the way they've tuned the engine. Why stream from a much slower media (even if it's an SSD) when the machine has plenty of RAM to cache everything in. The load times aren't really an issue, if you have it on an SSD it will load before the match starts anyway. If you don't, most of the time it still loads before the map starts.

No, and I wasn't trying to "rub it in" so you can check your attitude. I'm only suggesting that perhaps there's more you can do to alleviate your performance issues with the game.

The only appreciably difference between my 2600k setup and yours is my i7 to your i5 of the same gen. My 7970 isn't a GHz edition and is not overclocked so your 7950 boost should have virtually identical performance, and that system also has 8GB of ram just like yours.

the defender map in particular never stops hitching/stuttering, also have trouble with recovery and instinct.

then there are maps like Solar and Bio-lab which run flawlessly.
