PC Download is the one on sale.

I'm not a huge COD fan, but for $5 I grabbed one to add to my growing Steam Collection.

You just log into your digital game/software accounts page and there should be a cd key. Plug that into Steam and download the game via the steam installer. No need to download from Amazon.

Is this the game that was hated by the pc community for lacking dedicated server / lan server options? Not sure I want to pay them a dime for this one.
Had some old-school fun playing COD2 custom maps in a mini lan party last week.

Picked up extra copies of CoD and Borderlands. I have a second Steam account I use for a spare PC, then pick these games up cheap to use for LAN gaming. At over 22GB+, this should take a while to download tonight.

No point in using Amazon DL. Just log in to your Amazon account, copy the CD key they have listed for the game you purchased and then insert that key into Steam to activate it and let Steam do the downloading and updating of the game.

General Knoxx DLC is substantial, Robolution was fun (Viva le Robolution!), and Dr Ned DLC has zombie bashing (the living impaired). Didn't care for Mad Moxie, but that one does gives you a bank for storing your gun collection.

Well I actually bit on the Bad Company 2 for the same price minus all the negative feedback. Sorry op, I came close but over 400 out of 700+ 1 star rating I had to pass

Can I activate BFBC2 on Steam? I tried going to the activate a product on steam menu, paste in the code - steam says it's no good. Do I need to use amazon for this one, or should I be doing something else?

edit: guess I need to install Origin for this one.

I keep getting and error that cab.exe files are missing, or corrupted and need to reinstall the game. Its happened 5 times so far without letting up.
