I know...you're thinking there was no way they could fack a game up that bad...but they did. MP is MORE conducive to camping (as if that was possible), hit reg is way, way, way shittier and so forth.

As do I. Some say WW2 is played out, I think the low tech guns are much more fun to use then those new generic whiz bang guns.
SP in all CODs is just plain balls, so I don't even consider that part of the game. But MP in COD5 is better than my previous favorite COD3.

The only thing that annoys me are dogs and non-stop artillery strikes. Both that afaik can be controlled server side. I just havent found a server yet that controls it to my fancy

Dogs aren't nearly as annoying as the helicopter in COD4. The dogs I can kill rather easily unless they surprise me from behind... the helicopter in COD4 is just too powerful.

Yeah but when they are coming at a non-stop rate on some servers it gets really old. Plus maybe I am blind but I cant tell the difference between our dogs and their dogs and often times my own dogs are running circles around us which pompts to at least shoot at them to verify. We also had at least 2 instances last night of our own dogs wtfpwning us. Which was weird, maybe a glitch?

With WAW, I feel more immersed in the game. The maps are really something. Personal favorites are RoundHouse and Outskirts

Actually, after playing again for a few hours today, I have to take back some of what I said. I really did enjoy COD4, but it felt cheap and was really easy to camp and go 30-2. It seems like W@W is more of a camping game, and that's not what I was expecting. That being said, the singleplayer is a ton of fun. The other complaints still exist, the hit registry is awful at times and the server menu is all over the place. Pings show up at 1200ms but if I join I'm at 40 and so forth. There needs to be some sort of ping limitation placed on most servers as well, there is always someone playing with a 200+ ping bouncing all over the map.

Whatever, I'm just going to bend over and try to enjoy it for what it is...another installment in the COD series of games.

I feel cod waw is garbage.I bought the game and I sold it.I played the whole story and I even played some zombies.
MP sucked since there was alot of people all over the place with crazy lag.Alot of campers and the flamethrower sucks ass.

Cod4 is a totally better game.

Crazy lag? did you update punkbuster? I thought that problem was coming to be fixed i the next update until i was told to make sure Punkbuster was update. and yeah, no more poroblems or 'crazy lag'

I actually found a war server that disabled arty, but it's not HC. Still has dogs too.
