CoD4 Challenges

Has anyone done the Airborne challenge yet? Its the one where you need to get a 2 kill streak with bullets while in mid-air.

if so, how the hell did you do it?
does it mean 2 kills in a row while in mid-air or do i have to kill 2 enemies at the same time while i'm in mid-air? i take it to mean the former, but i have done it many times tonight and did not get it.

Hmmm I thought it would be the former as well......but honestly I haven't really tried to work on that one. Its one of the few I have left, along with Survivalist.

I think the easiest way tho....would be to just use C4, toss it on some bad guys and jump out of a building while setting it off.

You can also do it by jumping and firing an RPG into a group of enemies at close range. I don't go after the challenges, but I think this is one of the ones I just did by accident (along with the challenge to fall a certain distance and not surive - lol - that was a real challenge)

it says with bullets though. c4 or a rpg isn't a bullet. i'm thinking you have to kill 2 enemies at thew same time but no way is that going to be possible. its hard enough to kill one while falling.

what do you mean? its part of playing CoD4 online. you level up and unlock weapons and can do challenges for extra unlocks and XP to level up.

Just jump out and hope you find two guys standing there when you kill them.

I don't know how I got it, I think I got them during the same jump

Where is a good place to do the fall 30 feet and die challenege. I seem to be having trouble finding a place high enough to fall from.

The map with the smoking missile silos in the middle, can't remember the name. Fall in one of the silos, that's how I got it.

Just figured this out by accident lastnight.

Think I did fall down one once, just before I got that challenge though.

How are yall coming with the headshot ones. I've generally moved to the next weapon once I finished the 3rd level of the kill challenge. Won't worry about headkills till after I've done the regular weapons.

I'm doing the same, I'm on level 2 for a few weapons and have finished a couple of the LMG ones. Basically you can get them all if you just use the weapon enough, but I'm not too concerned about getting tiger stripes for weapons I never plan on using after milking the easy ones for points.

I think its called District, there is a big well you can fall down also.

pretty much the same. i have a few headshot challenges complete but not many. i have a majority of the ACOG scope ones done though, not that I'll ever use the ACOG because it seems to suck ass.

I hit lvl 55 last night and still can't do that damn Airborne challenge. I got a bunch of the others done though.

I think the 1.3 patch is supposed to help sniping and those stupid ACOG scopes in particular.

First of all you do NOT need to kill them at the same time, its only a kill streak.

There is a easy formula to do this challenge.

JUMP + SHOOT(while in the air) + KILL ENEMY *2 = challenge solved ^^


P.S try using p90 or something with fast rate of fire.

Playing in hardcore mode helps with some of the challenges too, because enemies die easier. I discovered last night that I'm a much better player on hardcore servers than normal ones (2:1 KDR as opposed to 3:2 KDR).

I heard that there are some broken benches on the level Bloc (Pripyat, with the two broken-down apartment buildings) that you can stand on. Apparently when you're standing on one it considers you to be "airborne." I haven't done it though, only heard about it.

Airborne is the one where you have to kill someone while you're in the air right?

On Bloc, there's a balcony that overlooks the middle area, you can "float" on top of some debris, so when you kill people, it counts as if you're in the air. I'll have to find a pic to describe it.

24/7 shipment server with a m60, grip, stopping power, and steady aim. Just manage to get out of spawn, turn around and start jumping and shooting. Should take all of 10 seconds (after you get out of spawn amongst the sea of martyrdom nades and lmg fire).
