I buy "Mexican" Coke from Costco these days because it's made with cain sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup.

Before having Coke elsewhere in the world, I thought this was crap, but sugar-based coke just tastes better and doesn't leave a nasty feeling in your mouth afterwards.

Dr Pepper isn't owned by Pepsi, its a division of Cadbury-Schweppes they contract out their bottling as well as having some bottlers of their own.

Errr, looks like Cadbury and Schweppes de-merged and Dr Pepper is now owned by a company called The DrPepper Snapple Group.

Between Coke and Pepsi?
Coke +1... if for no other reason, then just because Coke benefits my local economy. I prefer Coca-Cola when it comes to personal-sized bottles and Pepsi when I can only chose cans. Is that weird? The tie-breaker is on ice: Coke wins it for me. CLASSIC!

Between regular coke and pepsi, I choose coke. Between diet coke and pepsi, I choose diet pepsi. I am partial to puma cola from sprecher lately, though.

Diet Coke tastes like fizzy nothing with a horrible aftertaste. Coke Zero is ok, but I'll still take Pepsi, Mt Dew, or Dr Pepper over it any day of the week.

Coke, the first question I ask in every restaurant is coke or pepsi? If they say pepsi I'll have water, and try to avoid said place in the future.

That sort of brand loyalty makes Coke execs teer up I'm sure!. Not going to a certain restaurant not based on their food or service but what brand of cola they offer!

I prefer Coke the vast majority of the time, but occasionally I do enjoy Pepsi.

And to me, there is a difference.

Shasta wins with teh 3 Liter bottles, no idea why Coke or Pepsi hasn't followed. I personally find Shatas Cola to be NASTY, but the Pineapple, Grapefruit & Tiki Punch are good. And I can usually get the 3 liter bottle for $1-1.50 + tax & CRV.
