Cold boot problem with P4PE - Anyone besides me?

I seem to have cold boot issue on this board. When I first start it up, it starts to post and then when it goes to start the windows splash screen, it does nothing. A simple reset is all it takes to fix it. The board may actually have some kind of an issue because I can't run my ram in the first mem slot. Had to put it into the second slot to stress and bench. Here is where I am at:
fsb 155
mem 417 aggressive timings 2-2-2-5
Turbo mode enabled for ram

I haven't had any problems with my P4PE. I'm currently running my system with everything set to auto except my memory which I'm running at 355MHz CAS 2-2-2-5 Optimal. I've had it running completely stable at 150MHz FSB, 1.650 Vcore, DDR400 (2.6V), CAS 2-2-2-5. I ran it through Prime95, MemTest86, and 3DMARK2001SE Game 4 overnight without any errors or heating problems. I'm also running my one stick of RAM in DIMM 1.

With those settings, what do you have your CPU Vcore set at? Also, what temps are you getting at idle and load. One more thing, are you using the Intel HSF?

My vcore is at 1.575, although it reads at 1.68 in mb monitor. I am at 32-33 idle and 40 at load.

Rick 67, what are using to read your vcore? I you have mb monitor, see what it says compared to the bios and your actual setting. I know Asus usually runs a little higher that what it says, but mine is quite a bit higher. I do have another board on the way, hopefully that is all it is.

I can't believe you got your system stable at V1.575 (in the BIOS). I couldn't get through Prime95 without an error until I bumped it up to V1.650 (in the BIOS). I guess your CPU is more OC friendly then mine.

I don't have my CPU overclocked right now (don't really see a need). At the moment, I've got my CPU Vcore in the BIOS set to V1.50. MBM is showing my Vcore as V1.58.

BTW, my temps are about the same as yours.

I really like this board and plan on holding onto it until Intel releases a DC DDR333 chipset. At that point I'll also pick up a new HT P4. This should be just in time for Doom III!
