Cold: Cheap(er) DVD at CC *no rebates*

Just got back from Circuit City. I saw a pack of Memorex DVD R and RW's for $15. They had boxes of 3 DVD-R's + 3 DVD-RW's as well as 3 DVD+R's + 3 DVD+RW's both for $15. No rebates - the rang up as $15 plus tax. Labled as clearence so YMMV. The +'s are 4x for both R and RW's, don't know about the -'s as I didn't get any.

That is the highest price I have heard of. I read the thread assuming that you had found a bargain on dual-layer.

Even in 2002, I was finding DVD-Rs in the $1 - 1.50 range.

Actually, I *was* at CC today, and they do have DVDs on sale, until 4/2/2005. Some generic/store brand that I hadn't heard of, but they have 25-packs of both 8x DVD+R/DVD-R for $6.97 each. (So under $14 for 50 8x DVDs!) The spindles said "Made in Taiwan", I assume rebranded CMC.
