Anyone have any homemade Cold/Cough Remedies?
When i take over the counter medicine my tummy hurts, so i wanna try somthing else, anyone have some ideas?

Anything with codeine WILL work, but that may make you nauseous. Cut down the dosage or try something with dextromethorphane (spelling?)

What about cold medicines hurt your tummy? If it is the alcohol based-stuff and you want to use a liquid, try a children's cough syrup (without the alcohol)... even if it ain't the alcohol, children's cough syrup is pretty gentle anyway.

Also, the Vick's Niquil and Dayquil in caplet form may be okay.

BTW, you do not have to buy the expensive name brands... generic brands with the store's name on it are the same thing --my doctor said so and you can read the list of active ingredients and see that for yourself on the back label.
