It just so happens that they clicks they send you, in your personal experience, are not garnering buys.
But the ratios are so far off as to be ludicrous. We're tracking clicks on a link - meaning they are supposedly interested enough to make the effort to click a link. We're getting a sale ratio of .1% vs aol 21%, 13% google. Inconsistent to the point of insanity.
How could this be fraudulent? You agreed to join the program and google agreed to send you clicks.
That's why I'm not claiming fraud, only implying fraud or mismanagement. The trouble is that it's an all or nothing deal - there SHOULD be options to say where these are displayed, but there isn't.
Oh, and this is how trying to contact them went:
--wait for an hour to chat--
--chat with a monkey who can't tell you ANYTHING, and tells me as much--
--"We'll have someone call you in the next 5 business days" --
-- CLICK - disconnects the chat--
Not knowing how googles system works, could you block links from those unwanted sites from your website - or would the click count regardless?
Yeah, it counts regardless of whether or not we accept the traffic - it's registered before they even get to our site.
Have your lawyer write a letter explaining the problem, the resolution you are seeking, and the measures you're willing to take if the problem continues. Send it via certified mail to your Google account manager, with carbon-copies going to Google's CEO and your state's Attorney General.
This may be the next step...I'm already in dialog with a lawyer.
