Mid-March is comin up close and the UC schools will have sent all their letters of acceptance/rejection. I am eagerly awaiting Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSD at the moment. So far i have heard from UCI,UCR,UCSC, and USC. What about u guys?
Accepted to the only college I'm interested in (cheap SUNY school). Man, I wish I tried harder in H.S. to get all scholarships my friend has. Otherwise, it'd be Clarkson/RPI/RIT for me. Ah well, in 2 years I'll get my chance. SWScorch, I have friends at Fredonia, a nice school from what I hear.
so far i got accepted to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Riverside.. UCI told me to send them a photocopy of my 2001 tax forms.. dunno if that means i got accepted.. stil waiting on UCI, USC, UCB, UCLA, and UCSD
I was kinda surprised that USC sent me my acceptance letter before the top UC schools did. I am eagerly awaiting Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSD. If i don't get into any of them, I will still be happy because I know UCI has an excellent computer science program.
Accepted to Purdue, RIT, UCincinnati, and Ohio State. I really want to go to Berkeley or maybe UCLA but I didn't apply since I don't think my grades are high enough and because I'm not from Cali (I was though). God I want to go to Berkeley so much since I wanna go back home and get the hell out of this pseudo-hick state of Ohio. I'm planning on working my ass off for my first year at UCincinnati and then try to transfer to Berkeley afterwards. Any advices?

I was going to do that, went to RPI was gonna try to transfer to MIT. Then when it came time to fill out the transfer app I decided it wasn't worth it to go through all that crap again. Besides I had made friends at school and it's harder to start out again as an upperclassman.
When it all comes down to it I don't think it matters one hoot now, I got into harvard/princeton/mit for grad school and that's all that matters at this point in time.
anyone heading to grad school in the fall? Heard from UC Davis, UNL, and Clemson so far. If anyone is heading there, I might be your math TA in the fall. : )
yeah but dont be disappointed by small letters. USC sent me a small letter, which was from their office of admissions. My first reaction was, "Damn i didn't get in", but i opened the letter up and it was to invite me to a reception for newly admitted applicants. Down at the bottom of the mail stack was the big fat packet I was waiting for. Everyone keeps telling me not to stress out and that there is nothing else that i can do now, but it is real damn hard not to stress out considering that college will be the biggest step of my life.
Currently at UCSB. Little bit of advice, don't mail the acceptance response until the very last possible moment (unless it's for the one you want to go to the most). Case and point, I got my letter from UCSB on the very last day that I was suppose to mail out my responses.
