Just curious - I don't recall seeing a topic like this in recent memory:

Where did everyone attend college, and/or what level of formal education have you completed, what degree(s)?

I currently attend James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA majoring in CIS and Finance (minor in PoliSci). When I'm done I'll have BBAs, although I've been considering sticking around a 6th year for a masters in Info. Security.

Finished first year at NYU after taking a year off after HS graduation.

I am doing the engineering program, so i also took a class at stevens-tech during the first summer course.

AB in Philosphy - Ripon College, Ripon, WI.

I also minored in Mathematics and Anthropology. Heh, got to get credits from something. I could've easily double majored in Math and Philo, but one semester I carried 32 credits, dang near killed me, and decided to mellow out. If you're curious I pulled a 3.72 GPA (on a scale of 4.0) that semester. That plus two jobs nearly drove me insane!

For those who don't know what or where Ripon College is: Ripon College is in, of all places, Ripon, WI. Famous alum are The Late Spencer Tracy, Al Jarreau, Richard Threlkeld, and Harrison Ford. It's a small Liberal Arts college founded in 1851 and has a student body of about 800.

Third year mechanical Engineering Student (top of my class )

Noteable alumni include Joe Juneau, Adam Oates, Mark Murphy, Daren Puppa, Bruce Coles, Neil Little, Mike Tamburro, Bryan Richardson, Craig Hamlin, and Kevin Constantine (NHL Players)

RPI Graduates have been instrumental in such things as:

Plus, I go there heheh Not to bad for a bunch of scruffs who couldn't or didn't want to go to MIT

Capn. Ripon used to have, and probably still does, and agreement with RPI. We offered students a 3+2 for a dual degree: one from Ripon, one from RPI. Heh.

CapN: No wonder you are so good in math! (It's been 35 years since my last math course.) Anyway, RPI is an excellent school. One of my friends, Nick Schoonmaker, who works down here for Martin on the Lantirn Project, is a graduate. Smart guy and very nice. Good luck.
