College football junkies

Well, someone posted earlier about pro football, so I have to post about my passion...college football. Any fans out there? I am having withdrawls right now and our (FSU) first game isn't until August! I don't think FSU is ready to make a Nat'l Championship run yet this year, but stranger things have happened. I think if we stay healthy, we will definately be in the hunt in 2003 though.

Like: FSU, LSU, Texas A&M
Hate: UF, UM, Oklahoma, Texas

Any other fans out there? PLEASE! I need some discussion to tide me over until the season starts!

Yeah, I think we'll be able to handle business w/ the Cavs this year, but you guys had a pretty damn good recruiting season, and I'll be looking out for UVA in the next couple years... I'm with you too, ACC all the way.

It will be interesting to see how Texas A&M does this year in the Big 12. We had a decent recruiting season and Im expecting to see a year much better than last. In my opinion, if we would ever let go of RC Slocum and pick up someone who could truely recruit we would be back on top once again.

They made me a fan just recently. The last couple years they have fielded a really fun team to watch. Davey & Co were LETHAL last year!

As far as the Aggies go, I've liked them ever since they beat K St. in '98 and sent FSU to the Nat'l Championship. I SO thought that K St. had it in the bag, but they came back and handled business. The Big XII IS the best conference IMO, but I still think some of those teams are overrated. Especially Texas...every year they lose the big game, and probably field teams with the best talent in college football. I have no faith in UT until they get it done in a big game or win it all. Too bad Nebraska couldn't get it done vs UM... that was frustrating.

That Gator/UM game 2nd game of the season is going to be GOOOOOD. I don't know who to pick in this one. It's in the puddle, which is like 10pt Gator advantage, and UM's DBs are green. But UMs defensive front seven I think will dominate the line and give Grossman fits. I think it will depend on UFs defensive front to rattle Olive Oil...errr, I mean Dorsey, which may actually be a possibility this year with UMs young O-line. I can't wait for that game.

Life long Oklahoma Sooner fan here. Just watch out this year. With a healthy Jason White at QB and a defense that has the players to be better than last years it's gonna be ugly for our opponents.

Yeah, we don't have the defense that won 10 games for us any more. We'll see, i didn't expect more than 5 wins last year and we got 10!

Actually, a running back from my high school is going to SU. Kid's a stupid ass (along with being stupid and an ass ) but man can he run!

I'm a fan of FSU and LSU (being born in BR), but I don't really like TA&M.

I like Indiana University, because I live up here now.

People say that IU's year is going to be rough, with the new coach, but everyone is hopeful. IU is a good athletic school, having the great B-Ball team, and appearently a great soccer team.

I don't know who will be #1 this year, but since baseball is the only sport for a while, I'd watch any football game there is.

I might have to get cable this fall.

I love college football. I just hope my Tigers do a little better this year. Had a tough year last year. I can't wait for football season to start back up again. GO CLEMSON!

Speaking of Clemson, here's to moving on in the College World Series. How I wish I didn't have to work so I could have been out in Omaha to see the Tigers play and defeat Nebraska (I'm from NE, but I go to Clemson) yesterday.
