I love Oregon as a team, but that's twice I've watched them completely shit the bed in a National Championship Game. Ugh. People are going to blame the defense (and that's somewhat deserved given their complete inability to shut down Ezekiel Elliott), but they forced 4 turnovers that the Duck offense turned into 10 points... That's not going to win you many games.
Great game by Ohio State though. Elliott is such a beast.
Not sure how you guys watch this stuff, it's awful looking football. I made it to the end of the first quarter. Won a bunch of money on first half and full game unders though, so thanks OSU! :awe:

lol @ pics of High St last night.
Starting here and go right: http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/photos?gameId=400610325&photoId=4434405#photo_4434263
Print them T-shirts, STAT; there's money to be made!Ezekiel 42:20
Cardale Jones. I think Miller is transferring to FSU. Barrett should think about leaving as well. Jones is so good from the pocket. You hardly see a college QB that accurate down the field. And he isn't the fastest guy, but good luck getting him down before he gets his yards. He's kinda like what Tebow should have been.
ESPN radio this morning was making a good case for Cardale to go pro.
He's got a 6 month old kid, he's riding an amazing 3-0 streak and could be on the bench next year. I can't really disagree with them when they say he should take the money. Even if he only goes 4th or 5th round. It's money in the bank.
Ha. I love this football. I honestly don't enjoy watching Pro ball, not when I have this. They can be sloppy, games can be played very differently and running is far more of a threat, and they can be college kids, that is just an awesome package imho.
Jones definitely played well and did a fantastic job considering he just started his first three games. I still don't think people should overreact to this though. If Eliot wasn't running for 200+ yards every game, Jones would look a lot more pedestrian. I'd hold off on the NFL talk for Jones for a while until we get to see more of Cardale Jones.
Overreact to what? They weren't saying he's a first rounder. They said he is SAFELY a 4th or 5th rounder and that he should take the money to be on the safe side.
Heh, it's all good. I prefer college hoops to the NBA, so I totally get where you are coming from. As a huge NFL fan though, I found it hard to watch that game last night.

No, I get that, I'm just saying people overreacting to his performance in these three games to say that he's a stud QB and going to be in the NFL and such.
Congrats to the ohio state buckeyes, well deserved. They destroyed Wisconsin, Bama and now Oregon.
I'm not surprised that the Buckeyes were able to run effectively against Oregon, but I'm shocked they were able to absolutely steamroll Alabama, Wisconsin and Oregon's defense to the tune of 300 rushing yards on each of them. Amazing.
Though most of the accolades seem to go to Jones and Eliot, the real heroes for OSU are the offensive linemen -- they've been absolutely fantastic over the past few games, opening massive holes for the RB and buying time for the QB to throw from a clean pocket.
Think of how many of these games we missed out on over the decades because of the bowl setup and then the BCS. Under the BCS, we would have gotten Alabama versus Florida State, and the best team would not have played at all.
This. The o-line has really held up, and coupled with Jones' pocket presence/patience, there's a real force there.
I can understand the Jones going pro conversation. He won't be in any better position to go pro 12 months from now (worse, actually), so why wait? Go out on a high note and collect sooner rather than later.
uhh, the point was if he left now he WOULD be in the NFL.
