OSU's defense can't handle O's uptempo offense (don't think any team that made it this far could).
O will take full advantage of OSU's defensive struggles & each one will be exploited. That's just what they do to teams.
And how about O's defense stepping up 3 notches above what most predicted? Damn impressive. Surprisingly though, I don't think it'll be a blowout. OSU will make some adjustments to tonight's gaps.

The commentators got it right. It's easy to underestimate the speed of O's offense between plays. They said teams try to emulate it during practice, but you can't.
Yup. I read in an ESPN article (that I can't find now...) that Oregon averages 15 seconds from spot to snap. That is mind boggling. Most no huddle teams average from 20-25 seconds between spot and snap.
I can't understand why more teams (especially teams in the PAC-12) don't try this system.

The Winston 'stumble-fumble' memes have been pretty good. I particularly like the Odell Beckham one.
i saw that live and that was bad. it almost look like he did it on purpose.
I just do not like Jameis Winston. Don't like the guy. Nope. Not at all.

Hell, if the Buckeyes can keep up with the momentum going into the second half with a nice enough lead (2 or 3 TD's), I'd say they've got a good chance.
The Ducks just kill other teams with their no huddle GOGOGOGOGOGOGO offense...which is a bit surprising as they've been doing it (successfully) for a number of years now, and no one's seem to have caught on.
The key difference this year is Mariota. He is the most "pass first" Oregon quarterback since Harrington. This key of quick calls, a fairly strong middle run game, and a dual threat quarterback is awesome to watch. Tough to defend when they can come out you any of 3 or 4 different ways.
Sad to see the lack of sportsmanship on a lot of the Florida players parts...
Jameis went up a few notches in my book though for going out to shake with Marcus.
EDIT: Should probably mention that I am a HUGE duck fan. Born and raised in Oregon...
I liked him yesterday....
On the bright side, maybe this will be a learning lesson and he'll grow up.
Ouch.Video taken from the field as Oregon celebrated its 59-20 win in the College Football Playoff semifinal showed at least three players chanting "No means no!" to the tune of a chant used by Florida State fans. The short video, uploaded to Vine by Bear Heiser of Fox Sports West, quickly drew strong reactions on social networks.
They were showing the time between plays counter and there were a few in the 11 second range.
On thing I did notice in the Alabama - OSU game that was stupid was the rule not allowing the snap during substitutions. There was at least one instance where Alabama was waiting for the ref to allow them to snap, due to the OSU subbing, and the play clock was continuing to run. Alabama was forced to call a time out or take a delay of game penalty. That is just completely stupid. If anything, it should be delay of game on the defense for subbing late.
Yep 6 teams is the right recipe. 2 bye, other 4 play extra game.
congrats on the win, what a great game.
