Please answer honestly. I just want to know what typical college students make during their part-time/full-time jobs while on summer vacation..

I'll be making $12 an hour.. at age of 20. Is that good? I really don't know what the norm is out there. All my friends seem to be making $17-20 an hour.. which is crazy in my opinon.

If you're not in college, you can still participate in the poll, however please state your age in reply. Thanks

LOLyourFace!

Also could you respond where you work etc...??

Right now I work on a golf course for $13.59/hr. When I work construction (which I did a few summers ago, may do still, but am not doing currently), I got $17.60/hr for 10-12 hr days

I'm a college student but I can't vote because I'm atypical...

Add a "just want to see results" option or I'm gonna vote and mess your stats.

PS: your poll is messed.. there's no option for $13.59... you have 12-13 and then 14-15. It should be 6-7, 7-9, 9-11, etc...

I don't have a co-op or an internship, so I'm making minimum wage. Driving for a pizza place, so I get tips. It averages out to about $10/hour.

Wouldn't that fall under $12-$13? What difference does your numbering make?

lol.. i dont think that 13>13.59>12, so no, it would not go under that option...

If the job at AT&T falls through, you could go into accounting.

$12 an hour is good, if you have a job offer pending I would accept it.

Well have you asked where your friends are working that pays $17-$20/hr?

the best place to work is an investment bank. they will pay a crapload because they generally make money and will pay for top talent. i was working for a wall street investment bank the last 2 years of college.

during school - $8.50/hr (greatest job ever: sit on dock and take people's money when they pump gas)
summer - $7.00/hr (different marina, doing some of the same, but also a lot of other real work)

both have tips, but they usually aren't much

I make 12.45 now at HD. I also run a buisness but did not include that in my vote as it is a yearly amount, and would mess with everyones head.
