I don't know Moonie, I think maybe the US should just pack it up and go home. I mean after all, Saddam must be shaking in his boots defying the wrath of the UN like this. If he's not careful, he might just get another resolution thrown at him, and when those things are lengthily worded and bound in a hard cover, there's a good chance that if he doesn't duck quickly enough he might get an eye put out.

As for the Iraqi people, that's none of our business. They elected their glorious leader in a democratic process and Saddam surprisingly won the popular vote by a landslide. They're a hardy folk and I'm sure they're quite content with how things have all turned out for them.

I say we forget all this war nonsense and let the UN unleash their frowns of chastisement. They've been chafing at the bit to wag their finger and say a few disparaging words; I say, get out of the way US, and let them at it.

Every country whether they disagree with us or not in the security council ALL state that Iraq has to cooperate NOW and completely disarm. Every country KNOWS they have WMD. They all say they need to disarm now and not later. The ones that disagree say the inspections are the way it should happen and are effective.

Now the Iraqi Ambassator is speaking and says that everyone is wrong and that they have no WMD. And that Iraq is cooperating completely.

Come on people, it is common sense here.

Everyone knows the truth but no one is willing to enforce anything except the US and Allies. They all let Iraq say they are cooperating and have no WMD.

This is truly amazing that Germany can say that Iraq has to start cooperating now and disarm but have the Iraqi person say they are. Yet Germany, France, China, and Russia WILL NOT ACT.
