Marriage as currently constructed does not promote monogamy. The current marriage system in America is basically to spend your 20s screwing everything that moves, then when you get tired of that settle down for a few years and then get divorced.
Also, ever hear of an open marriage. Something even "conservative" Newt Gingrich endorses.
Of course if you go back to the old school sex before marriage being wrong and divorce being frowned upon. Yeah that would promote monogamy.
Basically the question is do you think that people who spend years banging anything that moves currently will suddenly decide they want to have monogamous relationships because same-sex marriage is legal?
Got it. So you understand monogamous relationships about as well as you do gay ones or women on general.
I can't answer your question because it only applies to the twisted stereotypes of gays and women you carry around in your head.
So why don't we let homosexuals in committed monogamous relationships, married in their church have their civil an legal rights as a married couple that constitution basically says they get.
