how are people getting in touch via email with luna? i sent 2 emails the last 2 weeks with no reply, sent another now, all to sales@luna.

LunaMan: I ordered a candle on Jan 31st. The fedex tracking said it had been damaged and returned to shipper. Could you help me figure out whats going on with my order? I sent you a PM last week with the Fedex tracking number. Thanks.

Anyone else having trouble ordering? I just tried ordering a candle from their site and it kept saying my credit card was invalid or that it was not accepted... same thing happened on my other cc. Both are Visa, verified the info was correct. I dont know if this is a problem with authorize.net or with the way lunacandle is handling the transaction.

Sorry for the delay in response, we are preparing for a TV campaign scheduled for late March. I'll keep you all posted as it unfolds. Should be very interesting.

As for the questions, i hope these answers help.

The candles found in the wholesaler section, those are candles that we can manufacture and they are meant for high volume orders. 5000 units+. We don't hold everything in inventory since that would be way too many candles.

The candles in the eCommerce section are the ones being sold in stores as well.

By the end of this week, we should have a bunch of new models added to the eCommerce section.

we us AVS (address verification system) with Authorize.net to make sure the address matches the credit card. That is the only way it will decline your card, unless the funds aren't there.

The AVS checks the Zip Code that the card was issued for. Is the billing address for your luna account the same one that was used when you got your Crddit Card ?

actully, was slacking and hadn't made the return call yet when, lo and behold, the door bell rouses me a few minutes ago and it's fedex! with a new candle! beautiful new pillar replacement.

awesome job luna, thanks or taking care of the issue painlessly once we made contact. i'll definitely be getting more.

ps- also looks like your packaging is improving. the orignal wasn't terribly packed but i had 3 candles and there was bubble wrap but it was all to one side, not wrapping the boxes. so it basically just pushed everything inside to one side of the box. this new candle was wrapped all the way around with bubble and snugly packed. nice job. thanks again.

I really like the concept of your product, but do have some suggestions related to increasing sales, etc. I have a marketing doctorate, so am somewhat knowledgeable in the area. We are going to be on PAX TV March 26th between 1- 4 pm (depends on your location), check out your local guide (you can find it at tvguide.com and zap2it.com). We will be featuring our candles for 1 hour should be quite fun. The show will be called Color Changing Candles ... Only by Luna.

the hosts are very impressive. we will be introducing New Candles.

I am very impressed with what I understand about this product and from what I have read the folks running this luna candle color changing candles business seem quite courteous and professional.

My question; Now that I have joined this forum, can I still receive 15% off the price of color changing candles if I use the "Forumers" discount code?

As you can tell from my screen name, I am a gadget addict. Does Luna Candle sell anything other than the color changing candles ?

luna candle currently only does what it does best. Color changing candles. You can use the 15 % forumers code if you wish but we have extended the 50 % for 50 $ promo due to the great response we had.

forumers will give you 15 % on any ordere

mybargain will give you 50 % off any order of over 50 $.

simply use them in the redeem section of the site.

TVGuide.com says that the Color Changing Candle show is on at 5pm in Boston Area. But in your previous message, u stated 1-4pm.??????? Also, what do these NEW candles look like? And am I able to buy at a discount??? THX!

you are right about that we are from 1-4 Pacific time and 4-7 east coast time. We will cover natinal US, regardless of your location you will be able to see it. We will be finally showing our new candle lines that there will be discounts applied if you order through the TV specials.

we do ask that you light the candle for at least a 10-30 seconds before the color changes occur. If the product doesn't work, simply call or send us an email to our customer service line and they will take care of you. Your mom will be happy i can assure you of that.

yes the candles are lightly scented and the jars are scented. We have a new model we are going to introduce tomorrow which is unscented (Candle name is "Pure").

We left it lit for about 5 minutes.. The first candle (given to the wife) worked after about 5 seconds

ditto, i ordered 4 and one glass one arrived broken and didn't work when lit (left burning 10 minutes). The 3 pillars worked fine.
I called and they said they would send a new frosted glass one.
But when i logged onto their site to check status, i get a time out or lunacandle.com cannot be found...2 days now
