Today i went from getting 400kbs downloads to getting 700kbs downloads in less than 8 hours.
Just wish that their uptime was greater than 50%

I have heard stories that comcast does lag more than SBC. My friend claims to get 20 - 30 ping in CS, while I get low 40s with my Comcast.. ditto.

Yep, I have comcast. Some times I get dl speeds reeeeally close to 4Mbps and other times I get in the 2Mbps area. Their DNS servers are totally unreliable so I switched them to Verizons lvl3 servers
:Q how do you switch DNS Servers?
Right click my netowrk places, properties, right click your connection, properties, highlight internet protocol (TCP/IP), click properties, click the use the following DNS server adress thing. There servers are 4.2.2.1, 4.2.2.2. Have fun!

Those aren't Verizon DNS addresses, ARIN shows them to be owned by a networking company, Level 3 Communications.
