The official launch date for this was Dec. 10. Alot of the sales reps probably wont know about this offer untill the end of at least this weekend and on Monday they should be able to set this up with less/no problems.

So I thought that more affordable broadband would be coming out soon according to our US government?
All I see is that they speed up the connections and want people to pay even more.
Pure BS.

Do it online, and fill in all the boxes even though they don't apply (b/c you don't need an installation visit, etc, and pick some scheduled times, etc. At the end, you get in to live chat, they upgrade you there and say ok, powercycle your router, we are done.
If it doesn't show up for you in the link the OP posted, it's not available in your area.

grr still on comcast about this deal! their rep knows nothing about it and can't even navigate their own website to find it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EDIT:
first rep disconnected/hung out after I finally got him to see the offer on their OWN website
second rep took forever to find it on their website, felt like I was working giving her directions to find something on their own website, eventually she sees it and then says she needs to transfer me to that department after putting me on hold for 10 minutes if not more. That department just rings and rings.
I can't believe I still put up with such inferior service with FIOS options avaliable to me.
Well, actually I don't have home telephone service so I can't get FIOS on that, but I can easily add it and have FIOS.... Ugh...
EDIT 2:
I figured I give myself to calm down and call for a 3rd, I ask for a manager because it's insane to have to call 2+ times to add some promo offer...
He goes to comcast.NET to look for this offer... Anyhow, set him straight, and then he puts me on hold. He comes back on the line and navigates me to the page I've been telling his reps how to get to on my previous 2 calls for some reason. I was already there and he just tells me to go there with no further instructions, so I ask am I suppose to do something? He says no, but he is going to try to add the offer. Well, wtf was the point of showing me the page I already found and was on... Anyhow, nearly an hour has been wasted with this and I expect something better than giving me up to 2 MB of "faster" service for the price I am paying now. He tells me he can't do that because the FCC has to approve their credits... That sounds like BS to me though. He says he will give me a call back after he adds it.
....
Fast forward to later and he calls to tell me he couldn't find the rate code to add the offer. He needs to contact their marketing department. He'll give me a call Tues, I say no thinks, if I have a problem, I'll call you guys. Mention other offers I have in the mail for TV and internet and nothing of a retention offer... Well I think it's time that Comcast and I part our ways...
