My mom and stepdad have a log home. I was often recruited for household projects. One such project was tearing out the old front porch and putting in the new one. Went to bed and got up for school the next morning. Turned around in the door jam to lock the door as I was leaving. Locked the door, swung around with my foot out, and took a step. A second later I was shocked lying in the dirt (backpack and all). I had completely forgotten taking out the old porch and fell stepping out to go to school. Wound up having to change pants because of all the dirt from the fall.
My heart still occassionally skips a beat if I turn in a door jam to lock the door and I haven't checked to make sure the ground/porch is where it's supposed to be.

I spent the morning building myself a little "fort" kind of thing out of them, and this douche walks over and crashes it down.
So I grab a long piece (2ft) and swing it like a bat into his head, sending him sprawling across the floor.
He never fvcked with me again. It was great... and thats' when i learned violence solves problems... a lesson I applied time & time agian in elementary school.
Thankfully I stopped in middle school, when it coulda really gotten me into trouble
