First of all, realize that I walk really fast compared to most people. I have forced open automatic doors at the grocery store before because I was unwilling to wait for it to open at its default speed.
A couple of hours ago, I went to exit the men's room. As usual, I was operating at maximum warp. I threw the door open and started to step through it as it opened. Unfortunately, I made a miscalculation of my shoe size. (my shoes are a little big lengthwise, since I have wide feet) The door swung open, bounced off the toe of my left foot and began aburtly closing.
From my perspective, all I initially knew was that side of my face hurt. Upon further research I realized I had just walked full force into the side of the door as it was springing back shut. I now have a sweet shiner right on my cheekbone.
